Functionality
The app’s main functionality is to communicate with all of the individual module bluetooth controllers. The information gathered from the ParkLink devices will then be used to display parking availability using a rough grid map of the parking structure and a color coding of red and green to display open spots. Additionally, data will be gathered and analyzed through the use of AI to identify and provide the other vital functions of our app, which will be detailed in further detail below.

AI Implementation
Assuming data is collected from users rather than traffic databases or satellite imagery, AI can analyze user behaviors such as parking frequency, preferred times, and locations. This data is compiled into a database to enable two key implementations. First, an AI model that an predict parking availability by analyzing historical user patterns and display real-time parking density on a map in the ParkLink app. Second, by leveraging individual parking habits, the AI can notify users when their usual spots are likely to be occupied and suggest alternative locations, improving and streamlining the overall parking experience.
